Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Pusa P.S. Case No. 127 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a), 32(i)(ii) and 41(i)(ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2022.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 08.01.2023 and there is a recovery of 108.435 liters illicit liquor.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody and the recovery

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17336 of 2023(2) dt.10-05-2023 2/2 of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Excise Judge-I, Samastipur in connection with Pusa P.S. Case No. 127 of 2022.
