JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 19-04-2019 The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground in lieu of death of her husband who died in harness on 14.10.2013. The petitioner is said to have submitted an appropriate application before the appropriate authority, whereafter her case has also been processed, as is apparent from the order of the Block Development Officer-cum-Secretary, Block Appointment Samiti, Dharahara dated 03.11.2017.

Patna High Court CWJC No.8253 of 2019(2) dt.19-04-2019 2/2 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance to the application filed by the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground, the Block Development Officer-cum-Secretary, Block Appointment Samiti, Dharahara has issued an order dated 03.11.2017 for appointment of the petitioner on compassionate ground, however till date, the petitioner has not been allowed to join her services. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and after hearing the learned counsel for the respondents as well, I direct the respondent- authorities particularly the respondent no. 3 i.e. the District Magistrate-cum-Collector, Munger to give effect to the order dated 03.11.2017 passed by the Block Development Officer-cum-Secretary, Block Appointment Samiti, Dharahara within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order, in case there is no other impediment.
