The petitioner while praying for implementation of the orders passed by the statutory authorities under the Bihar Land Disputes Resolution Act, 2009 (hereinafter referred to as 'the Dispute Resolution Act') also prays for a direction to the police authorities including the Superintendent of Police, Katihar to provide protection to her life and liberty which according to the petitioner is threatened by anti-social elements with a view to grab her land.

Mr. Sushil Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner while supporting the prayer of the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.631 of 2014 (3) dt.26-02-2015 has stated that although the petitioner has also instituted a criminal case but these unsocial elements have enhanced her harassment. She thus prays for a direction to the appropriate District Policing Authorities to provide her with security and proper protection.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking note of the nature of grievance this Court while refraining from passing any order as regarding the implementation of the orders passed by the authorities under 'the Dispute Resolution Act' would grant liberty to the petitioner to draw the attention of the concerned police authorities including the Superintendent of Police, Katihar as well as the criminal court below where the matter is pending, by filing an appropriate application and which shall be considered and disposed of accordingly. The writ petition is disposed of.
