The petitioner is in custody in connection with Special Case No. 7278 of 2018, arising out of Maner P.S. Case No. 398 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) of Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He further submits that nothing was recovered from the possession of the petitioner, the name of the petitioner disclosed by co-accused Ranjeet Kumar @ Ranjeet Kumar Choudhary who was apprehended at spot.
