Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to remove defect(s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Basantpur P.S. Case No. 25 of 2022, registered for the offences under Sections 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition Excise Act. The petitioner has been named by co-accused in connection with recovery of four litres liquor and the petitioner has clean antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts, this application for anticipatory bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest/surrender within four weeks from today in the Court

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18258 of 2022(2) dt.15-04-2022 2/2 below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise-1, Siwan in connection with Basantpur P.S. Case No. 25 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
