The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Parbatta P.S. Case No.79 of 2021 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has been implicated in this case merely on suspicion. The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner stating that a huge quantity of Indian made foreign liquor of 4392.225 litres has been

The petitioner along with others is alleged to have involved in illegal trade of liquor. Therefore, the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail. Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case as well as the nature of allegations made against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected. (Arvind Srivastava, J) Harish/- U T
