2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chakia P.S. Case No. 361/2024 registered for the offences punishable under Section 103(1) of B.N.S.

3. As per the prosecution case, unknown dead body was recovered which was identified by the informant as that of his son.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is brother-in-law of the deceased Samshad Ansari and has falsely been implicated in the case. Learned counsel further submits that he has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20858 of 2026(2) dt.01-04-2026 2/2 since 17.12.2025.The petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the case/ trial.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner on the ground that petitioner was in relationship with the wife of the deceased and had hired services of criminals and got the deceased murdered.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
