Petitioner is an accused in connection with Barauni P.S. Case No. 612 of 2018 for the offence registered under Sections 394, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the instant case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is neither named in the first information report nor anything has been recovered from his possession. It is further submitted that name of the petitioner has surfaced on the basis of the confessional statement of coaccused Aman Kumar before the police which has no evidentiary value. Petitioner is in custody since 09.05.2019.
