The petitioner is in custody in connection with Gaya Excise P.S. Case No. 52 of 2019 for the offence under Section 30(d) and 37(b)(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 and Sections 2(e), 3, 5 and 13 of Bihar Mahua Flowers Rules, 2006.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 04.02.2019. He further submits that in the instant case total 750 Kg of Mahua Flower was seized.
