2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sathi P.S. Case No. 93 of 2021, lodged on 23.05.2021, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 447, 427, 307, 302 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 01.11.2022, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 38894 of 2022, with liberty to renew the prayer for bail after one year from the date of framing of charge.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is clean and the petitioner has been in custody since 17.07.2021, i.e., for more than five

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18686 of 2025(3) dt.20-06-2025 2/2 years, but the trial has not been concluded till date. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner may be allowed.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there is a direct allegation against the petitioner of assault, which resulted in the death of the informant's father. Counsel further submits that a report regarding the present stage of the trial was called for. From the report, it transpires that there are a total of 14 witnesses in this case, and all the witnesses have been examined.

6. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected.

7. It is hereby directed to the Trial Court to conclude the trial within 3 months.
