JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 19-12-2022 At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent no. 2 has been depicted as District Magistrate, Khagaria, instead of District Magistrate, Saharsa, on account of inadvertence, hence, he be permitted to correct the same during the course of the day.

Permission so sought, is granted.

The needful be done during the course of the day. The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition is to direct the District Magistrate, Saharsa to dispose off the pending application of the petitioner, filed in the year 2018, for grant of Arms licence.

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner, I deem it fit and appropriate to dispose off the present

Patna High Court CWJC No.4923 of 2022(2) dt.19-12-2022 2/2 writ petition with a direction to the District Magistrate, Saharsa to dispose off the application of the petitioner, filed for grant of Arms licence, if the same has not already been disposed off, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
