Petitioner is accused in connection with POCSO-57, Sour Bazar (Patarghat O.P.) P.S. Case No. 487 of 2019 registered under Sections 363, 366A and 34 of the I.P.C. and section 8 of POCSO Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, the victim in her statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. has stated that she voluntarily performed marriage with the petitioner and nobody has kidnapped her, which is evident from Annexure-2. The petitioner is rotting in judicial custody since 24.12.2019.

Case No. 487 of 2019.
