The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Gopalpur (Rangra) P.S. Case No. 222 of 2015 registered under Sections 341, 323, 307, 379, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the allegations made in the FIR that the petitioners assaulted the informant with lathi and butt of the pistol which fact found due corroboration from the medical report submitted by the doctor, who examined the informant, I am not inclined to grant them pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application preferred under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23555 of 2016 (2) dt.26-05-2016 2/2 Procedure is rejected.

In case the petitioners surrender and seek bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
