The petitioner is in custody in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No. 750 of 2018 for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 07.02.2019. He further submits that in the instant case 51.84 litres of foreign liquor was seized. He further submits that the liquor was recovered behind the house of the petitioner and nothing was recovered from the house of the petitioner. Considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 07.02.2019, the
