Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

36.5 liters of liquor was recovered from possession of the petitioners. Petitioners have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent. They are in custody since 31.01.2020. There is no material to substantiate that petitioners are going to tamper with the evidence or hamper the trial. Considering the nature of allegation, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail after completion

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14975 of 2020(2) dt.04-03-2020 2/2 of investigation on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Nawada Town P.S. Case No.93 of 2020, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
