Petitioner is in jail custody since 4.7.2018 in connection with Sheosagar P.S. Case No. 221 of 2015 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act. Petitioner is said to have opened fire causing firearm injury on the back of the informant.
Learned counsel appearing for petitioner submits that the petitioner is in jail custody since long but up till now his trial has not been concluded.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as submissions of the parties, I am not inclined to release
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20062 of 2020(2) dt.14-07-2020 2/2 the petitioner on bail.
Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
However, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and try to conclude the same as early as possible.
