JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 11-09-2020 This is an application seeking quashing of the F.I.R. bearing POCSO Case No. 19A of 2015, arising out of Manshi P. S. Case No. 127 of 2015, instituted for the offence under Section 366(A) of the Indian Penal Code. Mr. Md. Aslam Ansari, learned counsel for the State has pointed out that this is a case of the year 2015 and the investigation in this case must have been completed by now.

There is no material on record to indicate that the investigation has continued up till now. In all its probability, the investigation would have been completed by now. If at all the investigation is pending, the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23196 of 2016(2) dt.11-09-2020 2/2 Investigating Officer is directed to conclude the investigation, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The aforesaid direction shall be implemented only if the case has remained pending at the stage of investigation. With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
