2. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:

"(i) For issuance of an appropriate order, direction or writ for quashing rejection list (code) Annexure- 8 & 8-A concerning to petitioner whereby and whereunder petitioner has not been selected/appointed on the post of Special Survey Kanungo in pursuance of Advertisement no. 4/2019, issued by Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Government of Bihar Patna although petitioner fulfills all the requisite qualification for selection/appointment on

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate order, direction or writ in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding the respondents to select/appoint the petitioner on the post of Special Survey Kanungo (contractual appointment) under Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Government of Bihar, Patna.

(iii) For any other relief or reliefs for which petitioner may be found entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case."

3. In the instant petition, petitioner is candidate for selection to the post of Special Survey Kanungo. His candidature has been rejected on the score that the requisite certificate furnished by him from the Commission namely, RAMKY Infrastructure Limited (Annexure-3) do not reveal its registration. On the other hand, petitioner has furnished the communication of the Ministry of Corporate affairs, Government of India in which the company name has been shown as RAMKY Infrastructure Ltd. with certain information in which registration number of the company has been shown as 017356.

4. In the light of these materials, the concerned selecting authority is hereby directed to reconsider the petitioner's name for selection and appointment to the post of Special Survey Kanungo. In this regard, petitioner is hereby

Patna High Court CWJC No.8612 of 2021 dt.21-12-2021 3/3 directed to furnish document (Annexure-3A), xerox copy as well as typed copy, issued by the Corporate affairs, Government of India to the selecting authority within a period of one week from today. On receipt of such document, the concerned authority is hereby directed to decide the petitioner's eligibility afresh within a period of one month from the date of receipt of documents.

5. With the above observations, the instant petition stands disposed of.
