On 07.08.2017, Chhotu Quraishi had seen informant as well as Asghar Quraishi indulged in sexual activity, on account thereof, a Panchayati was convened whereunder it was resolved that both should be married but, the bridegroom side did not accede to the same. Furthermore, accused persons so named in the written report including these two petitioners armed variously came and assaulted Sameena Khatoon with Farsa, Raju with knife, Ajmati Khatoon with sharp cutting weapon and further having threatened to face dire consequences, otherwise, they should desist from resolution. From the order impugned, it is apparent that the victims have sustained simple injuries.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.59774 of 2017 (2) dt.14-12-2017 Consequent thereupon, petitioners, Md. Chand Quraishi @ Chan Kuraisi, and Md. Nuruj Quraishi @ Nurej Kuraisi are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of ACJM-2nd (West) Muzaffarpur in Karja PS Case No. 156/2017.
