Petitioner is accused in connection with Special Case No. 1704 of 2019 arising out of Sikti P.S. Case No. 210 of 2019 registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 414 of the I.P.C. and 30(a) of the Excise Act.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It is also submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 25.12.2019.
