ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 23-02-2015 The Petitioner seeks quashing of the order of cognizance dated 16.3.2012 passed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in Dumra P.S. case No.29 of 2006 (Trial No.2792 of 2012). It has been submitted that the loss amount is around Rs.18,000/- but the compounding amount has not been assessed as yet.

The authorities of the Electricity Department are directed to decide finally with regard to the compounding amount within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Thereafter within four weeks the Petitioner shall deposit the said amount. After deposit, if he files certificate in this regard in the Court below, further proceeding of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21069 of 2012 dt.23-02-2015 2/2 Dumra P.S. case No.29 of 2006 (Trial No.2792 of 2012) pending in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi shall stand dropped. With these observations the application is disposed of. (Anjana Prakash, J) Narendra/- U T
