Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jadopur P.S. Case No. 08 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 20.01.2023 and nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody, this application

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17377 of 2023(2) dt.10-05-2023 2/2 for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise-1, Gopalganj in connection with Jadopur P.S. Case No. 08 of 2023.
