JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 24-05-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and counsel for the State.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Nautan P.S. Case No. 08 of 2016 for offence under Sections 147, 148, 323, 324, 307, 379, 447, 448, 354 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the petitioner has assaulted the Informant with iron rod on her head.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that though the injury of the Informant has been found to be grievous in nature but, for the occurrence of 19.10.2015, the complaint was filed on 26.11.2015 which came to be registered as police case on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23266 of 2016 (2) dt.24-05-2016 11.1.2016. In paragraph no.3, it has been stated that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the delayed logging of the case, it is a fit case for consideration of prayer for regular bail, if the petitioner surrenders within a period of six weeks in connection with Nautan P.S. Case No. 08 of 2016, pending in the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-IX, Siwan. With the aforementioned observation, the application stands disposed of.
