The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No. 305/2017, P.R. 38/17-18 dated 30.08.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a), 32(2) and 38 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

785 litres Indian Made Foreign Liquor has been recovered from a pick-up van, of which the petitioner is stated to be the driver. The petitioner is in custody since 30.08.2017 and he does not bear any criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge (Excise), Muzaffarpur in connection with Excise P.S. Case No.
