JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 09-11-2017 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Chainpur PS case no. 91 of 2010 registered for the offences punishable under Section 386 of Indian Penal Code. The allegation according to the informant is that one Arman Khan is said to have rang the informant on his mobile and demanded extortion money to the tune of Rs. 5 lacs and told him to deposit the same in Kashi studio which, unfortunately belongs to the petitioner herein.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has a clean antecedent, is in custody since 31.08.2017, he has got nothing to do with the extortion and merely on the basis that his studio has been named as a place where extortion money had to be delivered, he has been implicated in this

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53382 of 2017 (2) dt.09-11-2017 2/2 case however, neither any recovery has been made from his house nor any extortion money ever reached his studio. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kaimur at Bhabhua in connection with Chainpur PS case no. 91 of 2010.
