Petitioner apprehends her arrest in Karja P.S. Case no. 227 of 2018 registered under section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 9.7.2019 but the petitioner again files this anticipatory bail petition for grant of anticipatory bail on the ground that she is suffering from heart ailment and other persons have been granted bail but I find that the informant made specific allegation that his daughter was strangulated to death by her husband and in-laws within one year from marriage. During the course of investigation, witnesses have also reiterated the same facts. On such consideration, prayer for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16469 of 2020(2) dt.20-01-2021 2/2 anticipatory bail of the petitioner was rejected but petitioner instead of surrendering in the court below and seeking regular bail remained evading her arrest for the last two years. Taking into consideration the facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail and accordingly the same is rejected.
