The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bhagalpur G.R.P. Case No. 236 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(A) and 37(C) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 200 pouches containing 200 ml. of illicit liquor each from a bag said to be belonging to the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that though the petitioner is an accused in one other case but the same has been compromised. Lastly, it is submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judgecum-Special Judge, Bhagalpur in connection with Bhagalpur G.R.P. Case No. 236 of 2018.
