2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 406, 409, 420,120B of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, altogether 14 persons including the petitioner were named in the FIR for committing gross irregularities in implementation of Nal Jal Yojana.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already retired from the post of Panchayat Secretary of the Gram Panchayat. He is in custody since 9.10.2023. Charge sheet has already been filed.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is allowed. Let the petitioner,

No.20157 of 2024(3) dt.03-05-2024 2/2 mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Supaul in Pipra Police Station Case No. 363 of 2021.
