The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 217 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case due to previous enmity. From perusal of seizure list, it appears that nothing has been recovered from the possession of this petitioner. Further he submits that petitioner has no concern either with the seized liquor or alleged vehicles and his name transpired in the instant case only on the confessional statement of co-accused. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
