The petitioner seeks bail in Surajgarha P.S. Case No. 94 of 2017 registered under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner along with other accused persons are said to have committed murder of the niece of the informant over dowry demand and dumped her dead body in the well. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner happens to be father-in-law of the deceased. There is no specific allegation against him rather allegation is general and omnibus in nature. No such occurrence as alleged ever took place. As a matter of fact, the deceased was found missing

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51496 of 2017 (3) dt.21-12-2017 2/2 just after Bidai of his newly wedded daughter whereupon he had given information of missing to the police on 10.05.2017. The petitioner has been languishing in custody since 01.06.2017. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai in connection with Surajgarha P.S. Case No. 94 of 2017.
