The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Special Case No. 1096 of 2018 arising out of Jogbani P.S. Case No. 250 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 38(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 150 pieces of cough syrup from the back of the house of the co-accused Daldal Tiwari.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner is said to have transpired during the course of confessional statement made by co-accused Daldal Tiwary when he was arrested by the police. It is submitted that though the petitioner is accused in two other cases, but he is on bail in

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, Araria in connection with Special Case No. 1096 of 2018 arising out of Jogbani P.S. Case No. 250 of 2018.
