The petitioner has been in custody since 29.05.2018 in connection with Gogri (Paura) P.S. Case No. 79/2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the elder brother-in-law (Bhaisur) of the deceased lady and a vague and generalized allegation has been levelled against him. It is further submitted that other similarly situated co-accused have been extended the privilege of anticipatory bail in Cr. Misc. No. 36978 of 2016 vide order dated 21.09.2016 and Cr. Misc. No. 38918 of 2018 vide order dated 09.07.2018.
