Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Bodh Gaya P.S. Case No.332 of 2015, registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Sections 3/4 of the Witchcraft Practices Act. Allegation in brief is that all the accused persons assaulted the husband of the informant after tying him in a tree resulting into his death.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner including others, other co-accused Bucha Manjhi @ Raj Kumar Manjhi has been granted bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court vide Cr. Misc. No.36369 of 2017 on 10.08.2017 and the case of petitioner
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.60932 of 2017 (2) dt.19-12-2017 2 /2 stands on similar footing.
Having considered the said facts and circumstances, let petitioner, Teni Manjhi @ Satendra Manjhi, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Gaya in connection with Bodh Gaya P.S. Case No.332 of 2015.
