Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act.

On the disclosure statement of co-accusedRaja Babu before the police, a country made pistol and cartridges were recovered from beneath the bed of this petitioner, who is father of Raja Babu. Raja Babu had not stated before the police that the same was of the petitioner rather stated that petitioner had knowledge of that firearm. Raja Babu is already in custody. Petitioner is in custody since 15.03.2018. Investigation of the case is already complete.

No.43942 of 2018 (2) dt.20-07-2018 2/2 Hence, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Sadar Police Station Case No.40 of 2018, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
