Mr. Dr. Rabindra Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 30-07-2018 Heard learned counsels for the petitioners and the State. The petitioners, already in custody, seek bail in connection with Laxmipur (Gidhaur) P.S.Case No. 08 of 2018 registered under Sections 409, 420, 467 and 468/34 of the Indian penal Code.

Allegation in brief is that petitioners were, at the relevant point of time, being Mukhiya and Secretary, members of the Selection Board for selecting and appointing the teachers on contractual basis and selected five candidates, out of 1464 applicants, without following the rules and favouritism was made in selection and those selections were made even without conducting interview and assessing merit of the candidates. Submission is that petitioners have selected and appointed the candidates after following due rules and regulations.

No.45304 of 2018(2) dt.30-07-2018 2/2 Whereas learned counsel for the State submits that no rules and regulations were followed in selecting teachers and favouritism was done and investigation is till continuing. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer of bail of the petitioner at this stage is rejected. However, the petitioners, if so advised, may renew prayer of bail after completion of investigation.
