Respondent No. 6 under communication dated 14.2.2008 had written to Superintendent of PMCH to ascertain whether the bills in respect of petitioner's treatment of neurological condition for an amount of Rs. 10,115/- and Rs. 69,808/- were as per entitlement or not. After the said letter there is nothing on record to show if reimbursement for the said bills has been done or whether the same has ever been processed.

Patna High Court CWJC No.14587 of 2014(2) dt.27-08-2019 2/2 Counsel for the petitioner submits that he is confining his relief in the instant writ proceeding to his claim for reimbursement as contained in letter dated 14.2.2008 issued by DDC, Kaimur, the issue requires no adjudication as the final decision as per entitlement has to be taken by respondent No. 6. In the circumstances, considering the fact that petitioner has during pendency of the instant proceeding retired, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 6 to take all possible steps to ascertain petitioner's entitlement and dispose of petitioner's claim for medical reimbursement in accordance with law. The amount found due and admissible to the petitioner should also be paid to him expeditiously and without any undue delay.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
