The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bihar P.S. Case No. 716 of 2019, dated 29.10.2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 25(1-b)A/26 of the Arms Act. From the First Information Report, it appears that approximately 23 cartridges of various bores were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

It has been urged on behalf of the petitioner that without any firearm, those cartridges could not have been used for any effective purpose.

Considering the period of custody of the petitioner and the nature of recovery, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Bihar P.S. Case No. 716 of 2019.

The application stands allowed.
