This is an application for regular bail in connection with Roshanganj(BankeyBazar) P. S. case no. 53 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 385 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 17 of C.L.A. Act. It has been alleged in the F.I.R. by informant that he was engaged in constructing a bridge over the river. On 12.05.2016 at about 6-30 P.M. his Munsi Niranjan informed that two motorcycle borne extremists of People Liberation Front of India came there and demanded Rs. 5 lacs as ransom and threatened if no money was paid by informant, he would have to face dire consequence. Name of the petitioner has surfaced on the basis of confessional statement of one Arun Kumar. Except for confessional statement of the co-accused no incriminating

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.59901 of 2017(3) dt.15-01-2018 2/2 articles were recovered from his possession. It is further submitted that similarly situation persons have been granted bail by a Bench of this Court as contained in Annexure-2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SubDivisional Judicial Magistrate, Sherghati, Gaya, in connection with Raushan Ganj ( Bankey Bazar) P.
