Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Bodhgaya P.S. Case No.344 of 2017, registered under Section 7 of the E.C. Act.

Allegation is that 60 bags of rice for distribution from PDS shop of the petitioner was seized laden on the truck in front of the PDS shop of the petitioner.

Submission is that the petitioner had brought those 60 bags of rice from his nearby godown to sell from his shop, the petitioner is in custody since 07.10.2017 and the police has submitted charge-sheet in this case.

Having considered the said facts and circumstances,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61096 of 2017 (4) dt.18-01-2018 2 /2 petitioner Sudama Paswan is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in connection with Bodhgaya P.S. Case No.344 of 2017.
