The petitioner has filed the present writ application for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/writs directing the respondent no. 2 for immediately taking decision in the matter of petitioner's application filed under Section 19 of the Arms Rules, 2016 by which a prayer has been made for extension of the area of arms bearing licence no. 4/2008 from Bihar to all over India or on examining the case of the petitioner, arms licence no. 4/2008 be extended for all over India from a limited area of Bihar. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the application of

The Respondent No. 2 is directed to consider the application filed on behalf of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of this order. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
