Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 366/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is named in the FIR. Allegation is that he along with some others kidnapped the daughter of the informant.
The victim-girl in her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. has not named this petitioner, rather she has levelled allegation of abduction on Mukesh Kumar and Pramod. She further stated that though she was already married, Mukesh Kumar was insisting for marrying with her.
Considering the fact that victim has not named
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58360 of 2017 (2) dt.12-12-2017 2/2 the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Triveniganj Police Station Case No. 225 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
