The matter has been taken up through video conferencing.

The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Complaint case No. 1204 C/ 2019 registered under Section 498A of the IPC.

The complainant alleged that her marriage with Akhilesh Kumar was solemnized on 07.06.2017 but when she went to her Sasural the accused persons started subjecting her to physical and mental torture. It is alleged that petitioners demanded Rs. three lakhs cash and one motor cycle as dowry. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the complainant has not made her husband as accused in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15233 of 2020(2) dt.07-09-2020 2/2 case. The petitioners are father-in-law, mother-in-law and brother-in-law of the complainant. The complainant wanted to put pressure on the in-laws and that is why she filed this case with false and concocted allegation.

Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation made against the petitioners and the fact that petitioners are in-laws of the complainant, the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest/ surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order are directed to be enlarged on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Complaint case No. 1204C/2019, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
