The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Janta Bazar P.S. Case No. 39 of 2013 dated 20.05.2013 instituted for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is named in the F.I.R along with four other accused persons who are alleged to have snatched the personal belongings of the informant.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the informant and the petitioner belong to the adjoining villages and petitioner has therefore been falsely implicated. Since the petitioner was known to the informant, he would not have taken the risk of committing robbery without concealing his identity.

No.56822 of 2017 (2) dt.01-12-2017 2/2 Though the petitioner has been made accused in several other cases, but most of the cases are on the basis of confession and he is on bail in many of the cases. In the present case, two of the accused persons named in the F.I.R have been allowed bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court. Taking into account the aforesaid facts and the period of custody of the petitioner which is from 12.09.2017, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, Chapra in connection with Janta Bazar P.S. Case No. 39 of 2013.
