Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 17.04.2017 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 17684 of 2017 with a direction to trial court to expedite the trial. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that despite direction, up till now, case has not been committed to the court of sessions.
In such view of the matter, learned District Judge, Gaya is directed to see the case, committed to the court of sessions. However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude it as early as possible, preferably within a period of nine months.
With above observation, this application stands dismissed.
