The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Rampur P.S. Case No. 280 of 2017 registered for the offences under Sections 379 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation against the petitioner is that he was trying to cut the lock of the cycles standing outside Gaya college and was in the process of stealing the cycle.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is one case pending against the petitioner under the Excise Act and apart from that he has a clean antecedent. It is further submitted that the petitioner is innocent and is languishing in custody since 26.8.2017.

No.53398 of 2017 (2) dt.09-11-2017 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, petitioner Golu Kumar is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Gaya in connection with Rampur P.S. Case No. 280 of 2017.
