JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 17-03-2015 Heard Mr. Umesh Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State. The limited grievance raised by the petitioner in this writ petition is that his application for grant of arms licence under the Arms Act, 1959 and the rules framed thereunder remains pending for necessary orders before the Licensing Authority-cum-District Magistrate, Saran at Chapra.

Mr. Mishra learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that although such an application was filed by the petitioner as

Having heard learned counsel or the parties and taking note of the nature of grievance, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the District Magistrate, Saran at Chapra-cum Licensing Authority under the Arms Act to consider the prayer of the petitioner and dispose of the same in accordance with law and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
