Mr. GULNAR BEGAM ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE DR. JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 09-11-2017 I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.
The petitioners seek bail in a case registered for offences punishable under sections 272/34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
It is contended that, as per allegation, 40 litres of country-made liquor was recovered from possession of the petitioner. Petitioners claim that they are having antecedents and are in custody since 18.9.2017.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioners are directed to be released
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52415 of 2017(2) dt.09-11-2017 2/2 on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Gaya in connection with Imamganj P.S. Case No. 14 of 2017.
If the petitioners, after their release in this case, are again found involved in similar nature of cases then the concerned court would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of their bail bonds.
