The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences under Sections 30 and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
It is contended that, as per allegation, 496 litres of country made liquor was recovered from the maize field of Bishu Paswan and on the confession of the villagers that Rajesh Paswan and his associates remain involved in illegal transaction of liquors and on that basis the petitioner has been implicated in this case. Petitioner claims that he is having
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51158 of 2017(2) dt.09-11-2017 2/2 clean antecedent and is in custody since 09.08.2017. Considering the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional District & Sessions Judge-VIcum-Special Judge, Excise, Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Sohsarai P.S. Case No. 159 of 2017 with a condition that if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
