The entire retiral dues of the petitioner has been paid except 25% of gratuity for want of verification of records from pay verification cell, Education Department, Government of Bihar. The State has filed counter affidavit in the year 2019 denying the receipt of records in the pay verification cell but Mr. Anand Kumar, the learned counsel for the Patliputra University, submits that all the records have already been sent to the pay verification cell and the moment the records are received after verification from the Education Department, Government of

Patna High Court CWJC No.5013 of 2019(9) dt.11-02-2021 2/2 Bihar, the remaining amount of 25% of gratuity shall be paid to the petitioner.

Having considered the facts aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the State to verify the documents of the petitioner and send the report to the concerned within two months so that remaining amount of gratuity and any other amount for which the petitioner is entitled to shall be paid to the petitioner within one month thereafter. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
