JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 02-03-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondents to consider the name of petitioner for appointment in government service since he is a daughter of displaced person of Durgawati Project in view of a government policy decision issued vide Memo No.1133 dated 18.11.1993 by which the guidelines has been issued to provide the employment in government servant to displaced person the total land

Patna High Court CWJC No.16393 of 2014(2) dt.02-03-2023 2/2 has been acquired for the public purpose under the Water Project of Department of Water Resources and as also taking into consideration of an order passed by this Hon'ble Court in identical and similar matter dated 3.3.2006 passed in C.W.J.C.

No. 1232 of 2000 by which this Hon'ble Court has been pleased to direct the respondents within 12 weeks from today to government employment to the persons in terms of policy of the government."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances.

Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
